The pieces featured reflect his personal, psychological experiences of extended periods in lockdown in his studio in Melbourne, Australia.

A dialogue is demonstrated, a symbiosis of sorts, between himself and his working space where he spent significantly long periods alone. Observing his own sense of isolation, the plight of the situation worldwide, it’s effect on society and humanity as a whole. Given that this existence is reasonably normal for a painter the option of little to any external respite created a new perspective.

The reality of living through these lockdown requirements during this period within a pandemic resulted in this collection of paintings.
